Now that you have retired, have you thought about joining Local 392's Stock Club?  Ever wonder how the stock market works?

We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM until about 12:00 noon.  Our meeting are held at the JATC (1300 Century Circle North,  Cincinnati, OH 45246) in Springdale.

Each month the stock club goes over the portfolio, stock by stock and decides to keep it or sell it.  Next, we investigate companies that we may invest in.  These are brought in by all the club members and if they fit into our criteria, a vote is taken to buy.

The object of the stock club is to make money as a stock club but also to understand what it takes to invest in the stock market as individuals.

In the past, the stock club has helped members make money in the market without paying high broker fees.  There is a $100 start up fee.

Each member invests $50 per month towards the club's portfolio.

If this sounds like something that might interest you, we welcome you to join us at the JATC for a few months to see how we operate or contact:  Charlie Sparenberg  (513) 574-8048, Al Auciello (513) 451-1721, Len Issler (513) 367-6691 or Everett Hayhurst (513) 922-4363.

The Retirees Club is open to all retired members of Local 392.  There are no dues to pay.  The members meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Union Local 392 meeting room starting at 11:00 AM.  There are refreshments and food.  Every effort is made to have a guest speaker at the meeting.  The Club has split the pot to generate income to pay the bills.  It's a good time to enjoy the camaraderie with your fellow retired members.  Try making one meeting and maybe you will enjoy the few hours away from home
